Once non-compliance is identified, what do we do?

If you are in a state of awareness about non-compliant practice in your RTO (either through the results of self-assessment, or outcomes of an external audit) it is critical that the impacts of those non compliances are identified and remedial action/rectification is planned for and implemented.

This webinar will explore what the impacts of non-compliance are to your RTO’s business operations, staff and most importantly, your students.

ASQA’s Fact Sheet – Addressing non-compliances following an audit states that ‘providers are accountable for identifying and correcting non-compliant practices and behaviours, particularly those that have had a negative impact on learners.’

It describes the importance of the process of identifying the impact/s of the non-compliance and the carrying out of remedial action and that the action you implement should be ‘proportionate to the seriousness of the non-compliance’

But how do we determine the level of seriousness and the extent of the remedial action?

Join our highly regarded consultant Angela McGregor who has assisted hundreds of RTOs with rectifications/remedial action. In this webinar she will share her experiences and provide her insights on how to:

Identify and determine the impacts
Plan to carry out remedial action
Prioritising remedial action
Gain/submit appropriate evidence of remedial action undertaken

Angela will offer examples of the types of serious non-compliances and the kinds of proportionate remedial action that would be taken. Attendees of this webinar will also be provided with a useful template/evidence tool to assist.
