This webinar forms one of six sessions in our Master Mentoring: Assessment series. Want to explore the full series? Click here.

Webinar overview

There will be times when an assessor is unable – or not permitted – to directly observe performance. In these cases, options exist for other parties to collect evidence for assessor review and judgement.

The trick is to ensure that tools have been designed to allow for sufficient, valid evidence to be collected so that the assessor can be assured judgements will be justified based on the Rules of Evidence.

In this session, we look at:

  • Understanding when ‘other party’ evidence collection may occur
  • Types of tools suitable for other-party evidence collection
  • Building the right tool for the job
  • The do’s and don’ts of tools for evidence collected by parties other than the credentialled assessor
  • Common errors to avoid when designing this type of assessment tool
  • Examples

The intent of these sessions is to give tips and pointers about the things that add value to the quality of your assessment tools, and what to avoid because it undermines quality and compliance.

Register for this session on its own, or as part of the entire Assessment Tool Master Series.
