This session will discuss techniques to enhance learner engagement and participation through the use of two-way learning models.

By acknowledging and appreciating students’ diverse backgrounds, experiences and knowledge, the classroom can become an inclusive and multi-modal learning environment.  

Through the encouragement of learner participation in the teaching and learning process, and with the use of storytelling and shared experience, all learners can become mentors.

This ownership fosters engagement and has been proven as a mechanism to improve student learning outcomes.
