Attendees gained insights into practical ways to create an inclusive learning environment for neurodiverse students and the broader benefits of integrating neurodiversity awareness and support into their RTO and programs.

Please note that the revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations were publicly released on 1 October 2024 and will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025.

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 will continue to apply until then.

This webinar recording refers to, and is based on, the requirements for the current regulatory environment.

This session guided VET Practitioners on how to embrace neurodiversity in their programs.

It explored the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders: Trainers, assessors, management, and students all play a vital role. Attendees gained insights into practical ways to create an inclusive learning environment for neurodiverse students and the broader benefits of integrating neurodiversity awareness and support into their RTO and programs.

It provided guidance on the importance of PD to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting neurodiverse learners more effectively and painted a picture of an ideal learning environment that benefits neurodiverse students while fostering a culture of inclusivity for all learners.

This webinar was designed to empower educators and organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to embrace neurodiversity, ensuring a more inclusive and equitable vocational education and training experience.
