Topic overview:

Research and experience consistently showed that we learned (and performed) best when we felt safe. Regardless of the delivery mode, feeling safe mattered for learning. It was the glue that made learning stick. We simply could not expect training to succeed without it.

Yet, as we educators focused on staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies for training, it was easy for us to lose sight of learner psychological safety. We had all said, "No question is a silly question," but establishing and maintaining psychologically safe learning involved so much more than that.

Chemène led this interactive session, which was packed full of practical insights and easy-to-implement strategies to help us establish and maintain a psychologically safe learning environment that enhanced student experiences and improved outcomes.

What was covered in the session:

  • What is Psychological Safety?
  • Why it is important
  • How to establish and maintain a psychologically safe
    learning environment

Webinar content targeted towards:

Content will apply to anyone in adult education and training but focuses mainly on training strategies.

  • Trainers and assessors
  • Instructional designers
  • Training managers

Webinar duration: 60 minutes
