Standard 1.5 of the Standards for NVR RTOs 2025 requires amongst other things, that the RTO’s assessment system is quality assured through a regular process of validating assessment practices and judgements.
An effective process for ensuring validation is comprehensive and effective is to use detailed templates to guide the participants in the review of materials. This then provides a starting point for the reviews and allows for details to be captured as evidence of the process.
