Victoria University: Student, interrupted: International education and the pandemic (2021)

The report looked at five major destinations for international students: Australia, the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and New Zealand. It found all countries experienced a large fall in new international students in early to mid-2020. But while Australia and New Zealand have experienced a continued decline, the UK, USA and Canadian markets have recovered.

CEDEFOP: Microcredentials for labour market education and training (2022)

This study examines the role of microcredentials in supporting learning for employment. The study collected information through an online survey among mostly European VET providers, national authorities, employee and employer organisations, in-depth country case studies and interviews, as well as Cedefop’s ReferNet network.

ACER: Revision or Re-vision: Exploring approaches to the differentiation of qualification types in the Australian Qualifications Framework (2019)

In March 2019, the Department of Education commissioned the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) to conduct a conceptual analysis of the most appropriate way to develop and present a taxonomy of learning outcomes within a qualifications framework; and a technical analysis and revision of the Knowledge, Skills and Application of Knowledge and Skills descriptors used in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

ACER: National Report on Social Equity in VET 2013

This report has been developed by the National VET Equity Advisory Council (NVEAC) to provide baseline information on the participation, achievement and transitions from the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system for six groups in the Australian population: Indigenous Australians; people with a disability; people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background; people living in remote areas; people from low socioeconomic status backgrounds; and women.

An Evidence-Based Discussion Paper on VET Disability Education Delivery (2020)

This paper focused on the delivery of education within the VET sector, specifically the Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Disability. It sought to explore numerous avenues in order to build a picture of the state of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in terms of the delivery of education and the implementation of this education into work-ready skills.
