Four Brand New VelgCasts Available
Velg Training is serious about offering quality and relevant PD to the VET sector and especially, its members. That's why we have a suite of member-only resources designed to educate, empower and inspire you in your practice.
The latest addition is a four-part series of VelgCasts focused on the development of effective assessment questions:
- Developing Effective Assessment Questions - 1 Multiple Choice
- Developing Effective Assessment Questions - 2 Short Answer
- Developing Effective Assessment Questions - 3 True/False
- Developing Effective Assessment Questions - 4 Matching
Each part unpacks the features, benefits and limitations of using multiple choice, short answer, true/false and matching question approaches. The VelgCasts also include hints to help avoid misinterpretations and incorrect evidence collection.
Our VelgCasts are bite-sized PD presented as short audio-visual recordings. There are over 70 from which to choose; there's bound to be a topic for you.
Naturally, VelgCasts provide valuable PD and go toward your VET currency, so be sure to record your activity as evidence of professional learning. Members are welcome to use the handy PD record which will help identify, plan and documents activities undertaken.
