You might remember some of the blog posts that were published 2016 to document the exciting and busy time that is the lead up to the National VET Conference each year. In 2017, the blog is back – and will document work done and other exciting happenings at Velg Training. This year, we’ve got a jam-packed schedule of Events to keep us busy and we hope that you’re excited for another year of VET. Here are the big ticket items you should look out for in 2017:

VET CEO Conference

In 2017, Velg Training will be holding the first ever VET CEO Conference. This event will provide a unique networking platform for CEOs and other senior business leaders and will focus on business development, human resource management, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship. The VET CEO Conference will be held on June 2 at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne. Be sure to check it out to get involved in this new and exciting opportunity – the program is packed full of high calibre speakers!

THE Conference and Qld Schools VET Summit

THE Conference is an impactful one day conference designed to inspire and influence the Queensland Tourism, Hospitality, Events (THE) and education industries from high school teachers to industry legends. It is being organised by Velg Training, and being held the day before our Qld Schools VET Summit. Why not take the opportunity to kill two PD birds with one stone? It’s sure to be a valuable couple of days!

National VET Conference

Ah, the biggest event on the VET Calendar – the National VET Conference! Each year the National VET Conference seems to roll around faster than the year before, and we couldn’t be happier. The NVC is the biggest, busiest and most exciting PD opportunity available for those in the VET sector, offering three days full of VET, which include networking and partying at the Welcome Function. This event is not to be missed, and we can’t wait. See you in Sydney!

This year we’re hosting events all over Australia but it’s not all jetsetting, site visits and room service. More often than not, the Events Team are at their desks making it all happen. You’re likely to come across one of our friendly faces at an event, or even read some words written by us on this very blog, so let’s meet the team:
