We are all aware that delivering content to learners with a diverse range of needs can be challenging for even the most seasoned practitioners. As conscientious facilitators of learning, we are often faced with hurdles that leave us wondering just what we can do to adopt the most effective differentiation strategies that enable us to meet those diverse needs, apply best learning experiences and achieve successful outcomes for our students. The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a supportive outline allowing the development of Reasonable Adjustments tools, strategies and resources for learners with diverse needs, allowing assistance for everyone in the learning community. With an attrition rate of more than 25% of Australian adult-learners, the UDL model can help to reduce this staggering statistic and keep learners in training longer by educators learning how to combine the UDL framework to encourage successful completion of goals or qualifications. On 23rd September 2020, join John Blake for this insightful webinar session as he explores the modification of training resources using UDL principles that allow trainers to meet the diverse cross-section of a learning environment in developing training goals, methods, materials, and assessments.
