The 2021 Australian Training Awards Await YOUR Application ....

Nominations are open for the Australian Training Awards, the peak national awards of Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector.

The Australian Training Awards recognises and celebrates excellence and is an important mechanism for promoting the benefits of VET.

There are 16 categories presented and while the majority of the Awards receive nominations via the state and territory awards programs, there are five awards that are available by nominating directly to the Australian Training Awards.

This year includes a new award category for outstanding achievement in the VET and skills sector, recognising an individual’s outstanding leadership and contribution for more than 15 years.

Individuals, businesses and registered training organisations can now nominate directly to the Australian Training Awards for the following categories:

• The Outstanding Achievement in VET and Skills Sector Award
• Australian Apprenticeships – Employer Award
• School Pathways to VET Award
• Small Employer of the Year
• Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award

There are also a number of state and territory award categories. More information about these categories is available through the state and territory award websites.

Winners from all categories will be announced on Thursday 18 November 2021 at the Australian Training Awards presentation which will be held in Perth, Western Australia.
