The 2021 National VET PD Week is On Its Way to You!

According to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), there is "currently an appetite among RTOs for change that values excellence and professionalism in training outcomes".  

One of the key pillars of excellence and professionalism in VET is the self-assurance process, Validation!

This year's 2021 National VET PD Week is inspired by the release of the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) research report (Authored by Francesca Beddie): Begin with the end: RTO practices and views on independent validation of assessment, which revealed the need for "more emphasis on the continuous professional development of trainers, and particularly assessors, as part of quality assurance"

With the support of NCVER, Velg Training has built the 2021 National VET PD Week in direct response to this need!   Specifically designed for all VET Practitioners to upskill, extend knowledge and provide practical guidance relating directly to their role in Validation practices, 5 VET experts will facilitate 5 highly-targeted professional development sessions over 5 days.  

So, let's learn together about the expectations around effective validation practices.
