2017 Velg Training Workshops and Webinars

Workshops

Due to popular demand we have brought back some of our all-time favourite workshops. Our summer workshops saw the return of the A-Z of Planning and Mapping Assessment delivered by John Dwyer in Brisbane and me in Sydney and Melbourne. This workshop has received excellent feedback from all locations and we will look at incorporating this again into our future offerings. Also on offer was Creative Effective Webinars for Learners and Lead Generation delivered in Brisbane by Marc Ratcliffe which received outstanding feedback from all participants.

As we move into our autumn program we will see some more favourites make a comeback including:

• The ABC of CBA – this will be delivered by John Dwyer in Brisbane and me in Sydney and Melbourne again
• The Ultimate RTO Administrator Part 1 – delivered by Angela McGregor in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne

More recent additions to the program include:

• Suggested Evidence for a Delegation Audit – delivered by John Price in Sydney
• Conducting a Self-Assessment Against the Standards for RTOs 2015 – delivered by Joe Newbery in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne

While our workshops are generally offered in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, this is due to demand in other locations. If there is sufficient interest in another city we will investigate holding a workshop that location.

Members’ Networking Breakfast

A special Members’ Networking Breakfast will be held in Perth on the 30^th May. Make sure you come along to say hello and hear about effective transition processes which is a hot topic at the moment due to the large number of training package still within transition timelines.

Webinars

We currently have eight (8) webinars scheduled for autumn and full details can be found on our website. Topics range from digital literacy and digital eLearning tools through to compliance topics such as maintaining vocational competence, avoiding non-compliances and validation. Our webinars are generally one hour long and provide opportunities to interact with the presenter, ask questions along the way and see what other participants’ questions and comments are in a chat area. We are regularly adding more topics to our webinar schedule so make sure you check the website on a regular basis!

Webinar Series

When one hour on a topic just isn’t enough…our webinar series run over a number of weeks to make sure a range of content is covered in a manner that is conducive to fit in with your work schedule and minimise costs.

Marc Ratcliffe will be running a series on Creative Training Techniques in May and June. This series has run once before and received excellent feedback with ratings of mostly 5/5 across the board. Don’t miss out on this great online learning opportunity.
