RTO Administration: A management perspective

RTO Administration: A management perspective image

Are you in a position responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the administration and record keeping of your RTO?  Are you an Operational, Administration, Compliance or Line Manager who empowers your Administrators to support the operations of the RTO?

This three-part webinar series has been especially designed to help manage all that needs to be administrated. Focusing on a different process each session, the webinars will hone knowledge required to ensure administration processes in your RTO run smoothly.

Session One will focus on the requirements associated with entering and maintaining information related to the trainer/assessor-related activities within the business.  For example:

  • Currency and PD planning requirements and evidence
  • Trainer files
  • Student recordkeeping/files
  • Assessment validation
  • Training and assessment material

Session Two goes toward ensuring compliance with the rules for student services and marketing; both of which are topical issues with ASQA’s student-centred audit model underway.

  • Key outcomes from session two include:
  • Pre-enrolment information
  • Enrolment
  • Student support
  • Complaints and appeals
  • Progress monitoring
  • Credit transfer
  • Advertising and promotion
  • Course information design

Finally, Session Three is all about ensuring evidence is captured and maintained appropriately.  Focusing on how to empower the RTO Administrator in supporting the operations of the RTO, session three will cover the key topics:

  • Collect and manage all RTO information
  • Record keeping and data entry
  • Regulator reporting requirements
  • Document control
  • Qualification issuance
  • Continuous improvement planning and management
  • Fees and refunds
