TAFE Queensland Scholarship Applications Now Open
The Advance Queensland – TAFE Queensland Pathways Scholarships initiative focuses on growing the economy and supporting students to obtain qualifications to pursue their chosen careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) industries. TAFE Queensland has partnered with the Queensland Government to offer up to 35 Advance Queensland – TAFE Queensland Pathways Scholarships of $5,000 each for disadvantaged students across a wide range of industry areas in eligible Certificate IV to Degree level courses. There are two types of scholarship available:
1. Access and equity
Access and equity scholarships provide equitable access to study at TAFE Queensland. They are awarded to students who can demonstrate a genuine interest in and commitment to their chosen career, and on the basis of specific equity criteria.
2. Merit
Merit scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate that they will do well in the industry in which they apply for the scholarship.
Applications close on 31 August for Semester 1, 2018.
